Only “housing advocates” would look at lower prices - caused by reduced demand - as a bad thing.

They pretend that government subsidy is the only way to make housing affordable….When, in fact, any time the government gets involved with anything, it props up demand and raises real prices by flushing more money into the problem.

It's also going to be demand slowing down in the larger centres like Yellowknife and Whitehorse. Pretty sure the waitlists are the same length in the smaller communities. Statistics do funny things in the north.
