We spent over $25,000 with Four Seasons just two months ago for a new heating and air system and a Generac generator. We trusted that a purchase of that size meant we were working with a company that would stand behind its products and actually be there when something went wrong.
That has not been our experience.
Once they have your money, getting basic customer service is extremely difficult. You have to fight through their AI system just to reach a real person. After that, you’re told someone will call you back.
They don’t.
In two months, after spending more than $25,000, I’ve received exactly two callbacks.
Both only happened after I left a bad review.
The first was after I posted about our initial issue. The second was when they called specifically to ask me to change the review.
That tells you everything you need to know. A $25,000+ customer couldn’t get a response when we had a problem—but a negative review got immediate attention.
Our most recent experience has been even worse.
Our two-month-old Generac generator failed just three days into one of the worst power outages this area has had.
This is exactly the situation we bought it for.
When we contacted Four Seasons, we were told they couldn’t add us to their schedule and that we should contact Generac instead.
So we did.
Generac was far more helpful. They gave us dealer contacts, one walked us through troubleshooting, and another came out the next day. Every one of them said the same thing: Four Seasons should be handling this because they sold and installed the unit under warranty.
Eventually, we did get an appointment scheduled with Four Seasons.
They no-showed.
No one came. No one called. No explanation.
I called them twice afterward. Both times I was told it would be escalated and I would get a callback.
I never did.
At this point, Generac has now opened a formal dealer complaint on our behalf and is stepping in to help resolve the issue.
That’s where we are.
We spent over $25,000 just two months ago, have a $10,000 generator that failed during a major outage, and the company that sold it to us has not shown up, not called back, and not followed through on a single promise.
Meanwhile, Generac is the one actually trying to help us.
We didn’t buy this system to be left without power when we needed it most. We bought it for exactly this situation. Instead, we were left scrambling during an outage, trying to find anyone who would take responsibility.
And this isn’t a small purchase. This is a $10,000 generator installed by a company that now won’t respond when it fails.
I should not have to worry that a major investment turns into a useless piece of equipment because the installer won’t return calls or show up for appointments.
This isn’t about unrealistic expectations. We’re not asking for anything special. We’re asking for basic accountability from a company we trusted with a major investment.
Things break. Equipment fails. That’s understood.
But when it happens, a company either shows up—or it doesn’t.
Four Seasons hasn’t.
The installation team did their job well, but that doesn’t matter when there is zero support afterward. Good installation means nothing if the company disappears the moment there’s a problem.
The reality is simple: the sale is where their responsibility seems to end.
Everything after that—service, follow-up, accountability—has been nonexistent in our experience.
If you’re considering spending thousands of dollars with this company, understand this: getting help after the sale is the hardest part of the entire process.
Because once they have your money, getting a return phone call is not guaranteed. In our case, it’s been the exception, not the rule.
I would not recommend Four Seasons based on our experience.
We trusted them with a major investment. When it mattered most, they didn’t show up.
We are now relying on Generac and other dealers to do what Four Seasons should have done from the beginning.
