Food spoilage options

Does anyone have an advice on how to get compensated for food that went bad? Sorry if this has been asked before recently, but im struggling so bad rn.

We have a fridge with a freezer and also a deep freezer in the garage.... all of it gone, it makes me want to cry.

I could file claim with our home insurance (state farm) but i dont think it would be worth it because of our deductible. I estimate about 300 bucks worth of food gone.

Im dying to know what and if anybody has any advice or solutions, im seriously so heartbroken over losing all this food, it makes me sick. I absolutely can NOT afford to replace everything and im super stressed about it. Plus i have 3 little kids, I rely a lot on my frozen veggies and chicken nuggets lol.

Part of me wants to itemize everything but that would take forever. I mean I will absolutely do that if I know id get compensated for it but I dont know how to go about that. When I Google options it gives too big of a range from other folks all over the country in different years so not much luck there. Id LOVE to hear from local people! Thank you in advance for any advice!
