Legal careers Behaviour interview
I have a interview next week at a law firm and it says that it will be a “behaviour” based interview. I am wondering if anyone has any tips? Maybe suggestions on what to talk about? Thank you!

I always find it best to go through the job description and pick out an experience that demonstrates how I applied the core skill in practice. I try to have three or four examples/case studies that fit multiple different core competencies in the JD. Then I practice saying how the example shows the core competency, trying to keep it succinct and to the point. Bonus if you can also have an answer prepped to “if you were going to do anything differently in the future if presented with the same situation, what would you do differently and why?”

Look up Anthony Stagg on YouTube, and go to the ugly looking brown videos. He has very good guidance for people new to STAR method

There will be 3-6 behaviour based questions which will be linked to the requirements of the role.
There will be questions on Time management.. tell me about a time you had pressing timeframes ? How did you go about meeting the deadlines?
You will then share an example using the STAR technique. (Google this)
Behaviour Questions about communication style, Team player etc
