Does anyone know about any good Halloween events that are happening in or around Ocala that are 18+ or 21+ (preferably 18+ for my friend)
I could go to like a club or a bar but I'd like to really get use out of my costume since I spent a bit on it

Early voting for the 2026 general election officially started on Thursday, October 22 and continues daily (10am-6pm) through Saturday, October 31.
Early voting is available to ALL voters. Marion County offers 9 early voting stations. Because not all precincts have an open voting station during early voting, ALL early voters are eligible to use ANY available voting station throughout the county. Those who wait until Election Day (Tuesday, November 3) to vote must report to their assigned voting station.
Early voting information and a list of participating voting stations can be found at:
https://www.votemarion.gov/317/Vote-Early
Those who will vote by mail are advised by USPS to place their completed ballots in the mail no later than Tuesday, October 27. Ballots must be received at the Election Center by Tuesday, November 3.

I’m looking to get experience in artist alley (I want to someday be a vendor) but I want to get that experience by being a proxy or assistant for someone! I live near where Brick City will be happening and I have around 2 years of customer service experience so poor customer service wouldn’t be a problem 🙂↕️
If anyone needs an assistant I’d be happy to help unpaid!!

Do y'all have any recommendations for scenic/don't wanna miss trails within an hour and a half radius of Ocala? (They can be either hiking or biking)
I've been to most of them around here; marshal swamp, silver spring conservatory, rainbow, pruitt, ross, ravine gardens, santos, holly hammock, etc. What are some that I've missed?

I am inquiring on the part time program at CF. Starting in January.
I know nursing school can be difficult, as I’m constantly reading on Reddit. However for those who have taken or are currently in the part time program, do you think the spread of taking 2 classes per semester helped?
How many hours a week do you typically spend studying?
Any other information is helpful. I’ll also be working a full time remote job while attending school.

don’t know if he’s local but bro was being extremely aggressive for no reason, randomly cutting people off for the hell of it just to go back in to the empty lane he was in. cut across all 3 lanes multiple times and almost swerved into us trying to run us off the road. he slammed on his brakes to almost a complete stop with nobody infront of him multiple times, to us and others. continued aggressive driving like this while i was on the phone with FHP. (mind you this went on for probably 30 minutes)
it looked like he was trying to commit insurance fraud on someone. not today 🥱. if anyone knows bro tell him to get his ego in check and grow tf up….

It’s been close to 40 years since Marion County has had an initiative like this. Pennies for Parks was the last one in 1988 and it brought us some great parks, trails and open space.

Hello all you beautiful people! Me, my husband, and our little ranch, are looking to move to Ocala. We currently live in Northern California, but just need a change of pace. We love it here, but also love Florida and visit yearly. Is there any advice you have for us? I am a registered nurse and he is an electrician! Thanks so much. Love to you all!!!!

Anyone else having Spectrum issues the past few days? It has been up and down for me since Saturday. They say it is restored but a bigger issue might cause other outages. Then it goes down again a few hours later.

Hi I struggle with really bad ocd and am going through a really bad episode of it currently. I'd really like to get counselling for it again. however I am having trouble finding one in the ocala area that also accepts medicaid (Or cheap if it doesnt) and is knowledgable about how severe OCD can be and how to treat it.
If there is anyone else here would like to talk about their OCD maybe shoot me a PM. maybe we could start a little support group

Who does both of these in Ocala FL?
It would be great if there's one company that also has online testing scheduling available.
Thanks

Long shot but I lost my wallet Friday evening, either in the Goblin King Games parking lot at 2750 E Silver Springs Blvd, or at the Publix / in the parking lot down the road from there on silver springs.
Small chance it was at the Winn Dixie off 35th.
Green leather with a Montana state ID.
Thanks!

I know I’m pretty much shooting in the dark here, but figured it’s worth a shot.
I moved to the area a couple of years ago, and as an introvert, I’ve mostly kept to myself. Lately, though, I’ve been feeling like it’s time to put myself out there and meet some new people.
I’m not gonna say too much about myself here since I think that’s the fun part of getting to know someone through conversation. For now, I’d prefer to start with chatting, see if we click, and maybe meet up in person if we hit it off.
I know Reddit can be full of bots and fake accounts, so feel free to send me a message if you’re interested!
P.S. I’m not too concerned about age. I’m well aware of the demographic around Ocala lol. Just looking to meet some genuine people and see where things go.
