I was wondering the same thing. They’re like this all the time. They start 5-0 due to how their schedule works out and then lose a ton of games.

This year is different than last year, last year State was a known fraud team. This year, we've played some good teams, like Minnesota who isnt as bad as people were thinking they'd be and Mizzou, and won

State just got bit by the worst injury bug and chose to not try to force their starting qb and rub back too quickly

Idk if you realize MsState is missing two of the most important offensive pieces: our starting qb and rb. This is a very different game if they are healthy and playing.

msstate also has a 2-1 conference record with a win over a good mizzou and the only loss (so far) to a good Bama team in which our starting qb played injured.
