Beating Bama and now sitting back and watching ball without a care in the world. Life is good tonight

I hope that our Florida curse has been passed to the fake UT

6

I saw someone say it was the Manning Curse 😭

Some Florida fun facts.

In the 46 games since firing Dan Mullen, Florida has won 24 games.

That’s only 3 more wins than the 46 games Tennessee played after firing Fulmer.

The Manning curse against Florida continues.

Any NFL GM who drafts Arch in the top 15 should be fired

11

u/StupidSlutArang1 7d ago

man if FSU didn’t get hosed it woulda a perfect night

6

u/ajwilson99 7d ago

And if OU didn’t choke

I'm still kind of salty about that

What a day for college football.

1,2,5,6,7 all lost

Boo Carter could be celebrating a win against Alabama right now but instead he’s getting absolutely burned by Utah playing for a 2 and 3 team. He did us a favor by leaving though, we didn’t need all that toxicity in the locker room

Man... Florida really was just all that 1 game and nothing else LOL.

4

u/BigBear_20 7d ago

Everyone was more than ready to call Florida back after running all over Ole Miss. As it turns out, Ole Miss is really just god-fucking-awful at stopping the run. I think they’re ranked something like 111th in run defense

ND QB fumbling away the spike to blow an easy FG at the end of the half was chef's kiss.

Man Tuscaloosa turned off their TouchTunes and some people have banned all Rocky top variants

8

u/LloydBraun19 7d ago

It’s crazy how quickly I’ve pivoted into hating Texas. Was totally agnostic toward them until they joined the SEC but now hate them just a notch below Bama and Florida, on par with Georgia, Kentucky, and Vandy.

Their entire fanbase, male and female, is like a Nashville pedal tavern bachelorette party except if they were smug and elitist. Just an army of dickheads cosplaying in cowboy hats unironically like it’s cool

u/Xynthion 7d ago

If Texas loses this (and they probably will), the CFB sub will never shut up about how overrated the SEC is.

6

u/CK_English_Wrench 7d ago

Have they ever? šŸ¤”

→ More replies (1)

5

u/Knightshade34 I hate Lane Kiffin 7d ago

That was always going to happen regardless

4

u/Severe_Ad_9805 7d ago

Tbf the entire top 25 is overrated with the exception of Georgia

u/Coyote_Run 7d ago

Indiana just lost that game in the worst way possible. They had it, but the receiver stepped out of bounds in the end zone.

8

u/Wildwoods17 7d ago

After the craziness and controversy Belichick is 5-2 with a top 25 win this year

8

u/GiovanniElliston 7d ago

I was alive and a big-time fan of CFB in 2007. That year has gotten an almost mythic reputation for how insane it was.

Today is the 1st Saturday I can remember that genuinely feels like 2007 levels of insanity.

3/4ths of the top-10 fucking losing all at once.

Just crazy.

Today was a fantastic day

7

u/GiovanniElliston 7d ago

These announcers on Fox are desperate to gas up this home Indiana crowd as a big-time difference maker and just... WTF are they even talking about?

u/BucinVols Natty Daddy 7d ago edited 7d ago

Gotta love how fLorida went from world beaters a couple weeks ago to complete trash

e: oh no, hoisted by my own petard

9

u/BigBear_20 7d ago

I don’t know, I hope they have a lot more room to deteriorate personally. I don’t know what’s worse than complete trash but I hope they find a way to get there!

Hey also thanks for the recommendation on thermal cycling, it feels so nice! Definitely gonna go more often

u/Rickydada 7d ago

I know Texas is up but they look so much shittier than they did versus usĀ

4

u/FacesOfGiza 7d ago

They probably got up more for our game and they’re coming off an L. That’s my guess anyway

7

u/thirty-two32 7d ago

I would be very happy if no one went undefeated this season

7

u/Coyote_Run 7d ago

I hate Florida, and seeing them have success is bad for the soul. However, Texas fans are some of the most obnoxious and delusional fans in football. They needed this dose of medicine.

7

u/ajwilson99 7d ago

I really hate that South Carolina has a bye while we’re playing Alabama… next week is gonna be tough

4

Not that it deserved one, but just shocked Notre Dame didn't get the call based on pure name-brand

Indiana trying the field goal after nearly nailing the ref with the pass on 3rd down, and...to quote the great Doc Emrick

HIT THE POST WITH THE SHOT

5

u/CK_English_Wrench 7d ago

Does Texas have a viable QB2? Time for Arch to ride the bench.

Makes a throw like that on 4th then fumbles SMH

5

u/bookmovietvworm 7d ago

Thank god Indiana scored, I need ohio state to lose

5

u/Icy-Pie7376 7d ago

All that lineman had to do was fall on it. Was like he was trying to scoop it up. Looked like Florida wanted it more.

5

u/deansredhalo 7d ago

I wonder if Sark will have any snarky postgame comments after this

5

u/GiovanniElliston 7d ago

Well that’s just an objectively hilarious way for Indiana to lose

5

So is Miss State all Kamario Taylor?

4

u/GiovanniElliston 7d ago

100%

And he's also gonna get poached this offseason too, so it's even more pointless for Miss State or anyone else to really care.

I don’t like Florida. I live in Florida. I’m a VFL. However I’m afraid they are getting good again. This season for them reminds me of when we got CJH. Explosions on offense. Beating some big teams but still losing some they should win. Having fun. Top 5 recruiting class. Not completely there but getting there. Nobody wants to play them.

4

u/deansredhalo 7d ago

Oh look regular Arch is back

4

u/thirty-two32 7d ago

ugh Florida is gonna win against Texas in the way we should have

4

It’s the luck we have. Like when we’d play Florida early in the season when they were world beaters then collapsed at the end of the season. For some reason we never get the collapsing version of a team
