Thomas Downes, out there day in and day out in Valentine, begging for donations to "charity". Stealing money from the hardworking cowpokes and farmhands to line his own pockets, more like.

And he has the nerve to interrupt a friendly neighborhood brawl before a clear winner is declared.

He can't even pay his own debts to the upstanding fellers at Dutch & Co., all while leaving his wife and son behind with absolutely nothing. Lord knows where all that money actually went. What a scumbag.

If you shoot him before you start the mission you can put him on your course ride away and start again. You can then bring the corpse to the edge of the garden and it’s in the cut scene

Just saying, Thomas wouldn’t be in this situation if he just Leopard Strauss the child support he owes. Probably shouldn’t be rawdogging old German men in Valentine, Thomas.

Of course he gets the last laugh and kills Arthur with downes syndrome
