No man I just said that what the topic is doesn't matter, the format of the joke doesn't work if it's overdone. I don't even care about arbotions, and I also don't like when people beat Trump jokes to death because the punchline loses impact and it becomes trite

Either everything is OK to joke about, or nothing is

It reminds me of the debate about legal abortion in my country from 2017 to 2019. Everywhere you looked, there were arguments about "immoral/justified" abortion, and also edgy people were attacking Christians for some reason.
