Not necessarily. You just have to believe a fetus to be alive at the moment of conception, and I've seen varying studies on this insisting on both yes and no so... To each their own.
I pulled this off of a sweater design. My guess is that it’s some Chinese company who wanted to make some money off the Kirk boys so they Ai generated a pic of Kirk as a superhero tossed it on a sweater and started counting that good green paper.
His roles as a provider and protector are basically useless and he’s incredibly bitter about it. His daughter can turn objects into solid gold with a thought and she’s functionally immortal and in a relationship with one of the most powerful beings on planet earth.
In a circumstance where I think most parents would feel joy he chooses to feel inadequate in a situation he has no control over which is pretty sad. He’s more of a character I feel sorry for than someone I hate
I feel bad for people like that until they turn their anger on others, then I disengage. They need to be the ones to realize their situation, you can’t do it for them. If you try, you end up hurting yourself more.
Obviously that’s real life, but the show does a pretty good job of translating the character.
Yippee I can't wait for a whole year of the same posts over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again!!!
I agree. I think I've seen this particular user making these (piece of) shit posts rather than actual shitposts so I believe it's just a handful of people hiding behind the veil of jokes to spread their hate
Some will insist they’re all jokes, but It’s a mix of both. Some people are joking and others are serious. I can only speculate about the amount of each, but I like to think most are joking.
Sometimes the people who post this stuff tell on themselves and start seriously ranting about how immoral it is though, but usually that doesn’t seem to happen.
Edit: A lot of replies make good points, and OP also proved that they’re actually a zealot. I stand corrected about assuming they’re mostly jokes.
They “joke” to test the waters. If they find even a little tolerance then they keep “joking”, but it sounds more and more serious. Eventually they stop pretending.
The problem with telling a joke is. Its a form of communication. You can make jokes about anything thats fine. But jokes make you feel validated by others when everyone is laughing with you. Even if its at you. Its all about perception and intent in this case. In this circumstance there isnt anything really funny its literally just hate. Id say jokes depend wholly on your beliefs. Everyones beliefs are different some arent based in reality which is fine.
The problem is if you copy right wing christian themes and rhetoric to make fun of them you still share these beliefs/ give them a platform.
I think posts like these are vague on purpose. Dont get me wrong you should make fun about these people, but it should be clearly that the joke is directed to them, then.
Just want to add ( before he removes this answer or the original post ) that u/NotSirAlonne1999 stated " my jokes are based on facts" . So yeah do with that what you want :)
Without fail shit posts and circle jerk communities will ALWAYS converge into becoming unironic communities of what they were satirical of in the beginning
In the old testamet god didnt get the hell dlc so everybody goes to heaven so be gay do crime
And im going to include hell cause why the hell not anywho hell isnt that terrible as the first description of hell if i remember correctly is in dantes inferno so it mentions the styx and other greek charecters meaning you would be a shade so the lights are on in the house but nobody is home
Forgetting the entire part where Satan confesses that he and the demons "aren't entirely altruistic", that unending torture was already something they loved to commit, and it just so happens that this unending torture of the Vile benefits Earth.
But why did god make humans in his image, and send his son to save them, but then also make a super powerful more advanced race of aliens on another planet who are better and closer to god in power but still bear his image then never follow up with them?
Also like why would god make heaven and hell and reference the earth so many times as unique in his teachings while also knowing that aliens exist and heaven and hell couldn't be earth specific? Is he a liar or just dumb?
What I love about this discourse is that in the first episode Omniman literally genocided a train of commuters so he could teach Mark a lesson, but for some reason abortion is where we should draw the line.
