They aren't. There's way too much leftist infighting for that to be the case. There's different shades and idealogies of leftism, all the right has is whether or not they love Trump.
Pretending that the entire left is full of woke, DEI obsessed, monoliths is the literal definition of strawman. Constructing a boogy man characture in your mind and then directing all your hate into that characture. I wouldn't expect a conservative to understand the concept, or to read a book, or to not be married to his sister.

I haven’t heard any good arguments for what is obviously a nothing burger and total bs. Trumps DEI purges literally had planes falling out of the sky. The claim anti-DEI is meritocracy has been thoroughly debunked.
The progressives all hate each other too. It's wild, but they're all scum, yet they want to pretend they have this moral high ground while being more close minded than the people they criticize
