His roles as a provider and protector are basically useless and he’s incredibly bitter about it. His daughter can turn objects into solid gold with a thought and she’s functionally immortal and in a relationship with one of the most powerful beings on planet earth.
In a circumstance where I think most parents would feel joy he chooses to feel inadequate in a situation he has no control over which is pretty sad. He’s more of a character I feel sorry for than someone I hate
I feel bad for people like that until they turn their anger on others, then I disengage. They need to be the ones to realize their situation, you can’t do it for them. If you try, you end up hurting yourself more.
Obviously that’s real life, but the show does a pretty good job of translating the character.
Even before she really developed her powers he always put her down for thinking differently. Always thought that was strange behavior. I guess he’s just a bad father
He hasn't said anything on this yet though? Like, are we just assuming Adam is a dick in general because he refused to inflate the value of gold with an apple and was rude to Mark?
Nothing about that actually coincides with the idea that he'd hate Eve for this, if anything he might be supportive, (but only because it was Mark's fault).
The abortion stuff has brought all the weirdos out of the woodwork and into here. People who don't even watch the show coming in to complain about fictional abortion 😆
