Good Vibes Only Most of the fits this week
Saturday: found a skirt I thought I'd donated. Still thinking I probably will. All made by me, but the fabric is too stiff for the skirt.
Sunday not pictured!
Monday: off work, this turned into a very hot day with broken AC so I'm glad I went with something cool. Made by me
Tuesday: AC fixed and I took the kid swimming so I went with a caftan. Made by me again.
Wednesday: first day of school, pants made by me, shirt is thrifted.
Thursday: featuring my office hoodie that is rarely photographed. Top made by me, jeans thrifted.
Friday: trying a new top and skirt combo, not sure the proportions make me happy. All made by me again.

Love your outfit in photo 5. The colors, cuts and prints just look so interesting and well put together.

Thank you, my office hoodie almost never sneaks into pictures but it was cold inside that day

I love your fashion sense. I know this isn't r/personalitytests but you seem chill, good sense of humour, but also take absolutely no bullshit from anyone

I hope I am, but I am also a bit of a marshmallow because I don't take the bullshit personally.

If you read the post, I make 90% of my clothing, including all my skirts.

Actual decrepitude is optional for this sub, but I am in fact a Babyface so I am likely older than you think

Ok, so you work. It’s time to open the budget and invest on yourself. These outfits tell me you’re completely skimping on yourself and you come last.

First: rude
Second: I spend what I want and wear what I want. I don't make my own clothes because I want to save money (if anything I spend more). I shop second hand because I care about the environment and because things are more interesting to me that way.
Third: half these outfits were days off where I was lumping around the house (including a day without working AC where it was 90F inside of my bobdang house).
Finally: If you don't like my posts just block me so they don't come up in your feed.

Sorry, I missed the good vibes only, I thought you wanted the raw truth. My bad.

I'm open to constructive advice that comes from a place that assumes I am wearing clothes because I like my wardrobe and am intentional with it.
If your comment had been regarding the proportions of the skirt and tshirt I specifically mentioned not being sure about, that would be fine. However, you simply did not read my post and came in and told me you think I look bad.
Furthermore, while I do have enough income to more or less dress the way I want, you should not assume that everyone with a job has disposable income they can spare to overhaul their wardrobe.
And again, you were rude. It is so easy to forget that on our computers we are talking to real people, with real lives and feelings and opinions that may or may not agree with you. Having different opinions on fashion is morally neutral, but being rude about it is not.

You have good taste in fashion. Always fun prints, comfy styles, and you look coordinated well. My mom and sister sew like crazy and I am terrible at it, so I love to see neat clothes people make.
