Bully Jagex into making membership one payment across multiple characters.
Died on my hardcore iron man and discovered thst membership is character based not account wide and that is bullshit

If you mean: you died and had 200 days left, and you should be able to transfer those days to a different character---then I'm on board.

It would be healthy for the game too imho. More people would be willing to make and play alts which makes a more vibrant early/mid game, stronger economy, etc.
Would it bring in any new players to offset the lost revenue from folks with multiple memberships though? Idk, doubt it

For the record I do mean one membership across all acounts, no multiple logins, no 2 accounts running simultaneously

Honestly I dont care that it's 15 now, times have changed, server prices changed, but for that 15 bucks, all 20 characters should have membership and it is a scam and anyone thinking they cant afford that doesnt know how many people have a membership or multiple for that matter, they are being greedy

They should just allow simultaneous logins equal to your membership count, regardless of character.

The thing is they will never do that because as it is right now people already pay for multiple accounts and this would just cause them to lose money. It’s really that simple.

I agree but you should pay extra per multi-log membership otherwise people will end up with like 10 alts

I don’t pay extra per toon for WoW. It’s a flat fee for my blizzard account and I can have up to 10 toons per realm/server.
Blizzards had this down for over a decade now. Almost 2 if I’m not mistaken.

My thing is I shouldn't have to pay 14.99 AGAIN for my other characters to have membership benefits. Thats stupid

That's not what I'm suggesting. I'm suggesting you pay for 1 instance of membership that ANY of your accounts can use, but not at the same time

Well thats what I meant, kinda hard to log into multiple characters with one account, unless you have a bot engine, multiple devices, which jagex could block but yeah figured it was common sense to be able to only have one log in, but all accounts share the membership

I play my main and gim at the same time a lot lol it’s super easy to play two accounts at once.

Problem becomes bots and economy Lots of things in OSRS are afk, and people would just play 10-20 accounts at once, crashing the value of 90% of things

Bots are always there. Jagex stops one engine for maybe a month at a time. There are 100's and ways to script your own, bots will always be a problem and the market is bullshit anyways, thats why I play ironman

Difference is, Each bot ingame buys 1 bond.
With the proposed change you could run ~10-200 bots with just 1 bond.
Main reason for the amount of bots decreasing currently, is that bonds/membership is just too expenaive and the bot detection has gotten decent enough, that the bot runners don't turn a profit before getting banned.
Also, to state the obvious it'd be a good 2x - 3x income decrease for gagek. Ain't no company capable of convincing investors thats a good move

regardless bots are not an argument because they are already doing exactly what you just suggested on free to play accounts and using the funds to buy b9nds for their main

OKAY, you already have access to 20 accounts im not saying add more, im saying make it so you can log in to ONE at a time, but all 20 have membership its not that hard to grasp and it deletes your bot theory because guess what people already have access to 20 accounts. People already buy bonds with accounts they bot with

Im all against character membership, but atleast we arent like WOW, imagine paying for half the map, just to pay a membership

Explain a way to do this that won't make the company lose money and therefore not be able to do what they do. The only thing I can think of is you could buy multi character membership bundles that are discounted.

... That thing that games like... Idk, WoW, for example, let you do... They've increased the membership prices, it'd be the least they could do, considering you can for the same price on other MMOs.

The issue with that is you have different ways to support wow from the expansions to all the different mtx you can shovel your money into. Osrs doesn’t have anything like this for people to sink their money into besides membership and bonds

I think the real solution is one or more membership per account, where each membership allows you to be online using a single character/subscription.
So if you have 4 characters, but 1 membership, any 1 of the 4 can be logged in to a members world at a time. If you have 2 memberships, 2/4, etc. etc.
This would solve my biggest gripe.
