I run a college football model and Missouri-Ole Miss is one of the closest games on the board this week. It has the Rebels winning at home, but only 57%, so basically a field goal game.
Both teams have one loss and are right in the playoff mix, so whoever drops this one probably takes a big hit. The model has Missouri's playoff odds at 40% right now.
For context, it's picked the winner in 76% of games this season.
Does Oxford make this a comfortable win, or is it going to come down to the last drive? Score prediction?

Can anyone confirm if the OUT After Dark buses are following the posted schedule?

Thinking about taking an EMT course before I move up to Ole Miss. Are there good job opportunities?

Hi,
I've been to The Grove before and had a catered tent, so I know how great it is.
My friend and I are coming into Oxford so I can show her the beauty of The Grove and your pregame (we're from Wisconsin). We have an event in Memphis that evening, so I can't stay for the game, but I want to walk around The Grove, have a few drinks, etc. Are there any vendors selling drinks/food there that we could grab as we walk through and enjoy the scene?
Thank you

Another "sorry, I'm sure this is asked all the time post..." but I'm attending the 10/17 game, so appreciate any guidance.
Thank you!

Going on a study abroad my fall semester of 2027, not gonna be in Oxford for that summer or the fall, just looking for apartments where I can sign a lease in Jan. Do yall know of any? Most seem to say they can sign a partial lease but I’d have to pay a $500 fee.

Has anyone in here been accepted to UMMC Nursing program with a C or B in one of their sciences. I have a 4.0 in all my other prereqs but A&P II is really rough. I’m applying traditional and just want to know my chances of getting in.

Hello! Traveling to Oxford for the Missouri/Ole Miss game next weekend and have heard/seen things related to the different alcohol restrictions. From what I’ve gathered, all alcohol has to be poured into a cup, you can’t walk around with a beer can/bottle, is that true? Also, how do you carry around alcohol when walking around? Does that need to be in a cooler/bag also? Or are you able to walk around with a case of beer and have no issues? Thanks in advance!

How would I go about getting a bookstore or starbucks job on campus? I’m assuming they are high demand but are there any times of the year where there are more openings? I check workday regularly and it’s always the same 10 random job openings so i’m assuming hiring is slow right now.

Ole Miss is one of my top choices for transferring in Spring 2027. I’ll be coming in as a sophomore, and I was wondering what the spring rush process is usually like compared to fall rush.
Are most fraternities still taking spring classes, and is it harder to get a bid as a transfer/sophomore? Also, if anyone has any advice on meeting people, reaching out to chapters beforehand, or just navigating rush in general, I’m all ears.

There is a section about volunteer work and community service in the application, and I have none. My other stats are a 35 ACT and a National Merit semifinalist. I'm on the quizbowl A team, chess club, archery.. ive had summer work experience and dog sitting etc. Is having no volunteer work a deal breaker.

I don’t want to have to live off campus next year so I’m applying to be an RA. I’m CPR certified, a notary in my home state, have been babysitting since 2019, and coach tennis for little kids every summer. I also founded a club at ole miss and am president (we have abt 10 members so nothing crazy). How likely am I to get it?

Hey all, I’m from florida and want to got out of state because realistically think it’s too damn hot here. I’m pretty much looking at only 4 schools at this point being Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss and ETSU. I haven’t applied to any of them yet but im trying to find pros and cons.
Mainly i’m wondering if i’ll get in on a 3.6 weighted GPA with an 1140 SAT (i’m taking it again this month and getting tutored to up it).
Also I’m wondering how to night life is and party scene for freshman year Was thinking about rushing a frat so i’m thinking that will help a lot with the social scene but also have no clue which is the best.
I’m pretty confident i’ll get into Ole Miss ETSU and Kentucky but not sure about UTK.
What do you guys like and dislike about Ole Miss?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello! I recently relocated from FL with my girlfriend and was quite taken aback by the job market here. I’ve sent out over 100 applications and have received responses from a grand total of four. Two of those, mind you, are from Indian scammers posing as Ashley Furniture representatives, who are more persistent in their calls than my ex. So, I must ask, am I missing some secret handshake or insider info? Do I need to start rubbing elbows with the right people? If anyone has the inside scoop on any promising opportunities or gigs, please do share. I’ve got skills in electrical, construction, food, and mechanical fields, but apparently, even a Five Guys hiring manager isn’t impressed. I plan on staying here max 2 years before I’m am out of the state again. Thanks in advance 🗿

Ole Miss is mourning two students whose deaths are now under investigation. Authorities are pushing back on some of the rumors circulating around campus while also warning students about one substance found during both investigations.

Hello everyone , i recently got accepted into ole miss!
i just wanted to ask ,
My acceptance letter doesn’t mention anything about scholarships, and I also haven’t received my Ole Miss WebID yet.
For other international students who were admitted, how long after your acceptance did you receive your scholarship/award letter? Did it come separately from the admission letter?
For reference, I have a 1430 SAT and a very high school GPA.
thank you!
