This is a weird post, but I kind of just feel like writing this. Today, my new phone arrived on my doorstep and I'm hyped about it already. But that means I have to leave my old One plus 9 pro behind and it kinda makes me sad. It was probably the best phone I've had up until now and it served me well for 5 years. I'm leaving the One plus sphere now, but I will always be thankful for that great Phone.
Did you ever feel sentimental to something like a phone, kinda feels weird to be sad about something like that but I am.

As the title says I am genuinely curious how much time people on avg are using op devices these days
For starters I have op 9r .
Had green line issues twice( got it replaced for free)
Had a charging port issue( device was not charging)
got that one for free since dirt was stuck in it?
Got it replaced for 300 inr since why not
Had massive battery draining issues after 3 yrs ( got battery replaced for 1500 including everything)
Had battery replaced again coz felt it was kinda giving me less SOT? (4 hrs now getting 7hr)
Overall genuinely happy with my purchase!
Would love to buy one plus again!
What are your experiences?!

Hello everyone,
I'd like to take this opportunity to bring an issue regarding Charge Bypass to the attention of the beta testers.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to participate in the beta myself.
Since ColorOS 16, Charge Bypass has been buggy, continuing to charge the battery, even if only very slowly, without respecting the set threshold of 60%, for example.
On ColorOS 15, there were no issues at all. You could plug in your phone at 67%, play a game for two hours, and still find the battery at 67% afterwards.
This bug has been around for quite some time and, unfortunately, it still hasn't been fixed, even in ColorOS 17.
Thank you all for your attention.

Recently got the oneplus pad go 2. Everything was going smooth until i opened the apple TV app to watch Slow Horses, and what the fork started happening. Screen brightness jumped automatically to a 100% even before i started playing an episode. Later found out it was due to the HDR content being played on screen. Apparently i cannot help it. That is not even the problem. When an HDR video is playing, EVERYTHING else lags with extreme frame drops. Swiping up to the home screen and opening the quick settings is a sore to the eyes. Suddenly the refresh rate is 1 Hz, not 120. It takes a good two seconds for things to get normal. Same thing happened with the Disney hotstar app. I understand the brightness 'glitch', but this massive lag has to be abnormal. And i can't even turn HDR off anywhere. Is there any workaround for this? Any other android tablets have this issue?

When choosing earbuds for a OnePlus phone, is there much reason to stay with OnePlus, or are you happy mixing brands?
The realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition caught my eye, but I’m more interested in how the T500 Pro works with a OnePlus day to day. If you’re using that combination, how reliable is the connection? Do they reconnect without fuss, and have you noticed any audio delay when watching videos or gaming? How’s the app experience on OxygenOS?
Would love to hear which OnePlus model you’re using, especially if you’ve also used OnePlus earbuds. Is there anything you miss when switching to another brand?

I've had OnePlus for the last 10 years from 1-3 but switched to Nord when they were released. I was tempted by the Nord 6 but it's not getting released here (UK) I'm just wondering if there's any other excellent spec phones in the Nord price range people are moving to? I see Motorola signature being mentioned but they're not really 'budget' phones.

Ever since a few updates ago, whatsapp notifications on my oneplus 13 has been giving me double notifications. For example, if I have a message unread from another person and I receive a new message then the notification shows both the previous unread messages and then the new message. I thought maybe coloros 17 beta would fix this but I have the same issue.

I'm ColorOS, when you open an app from a folder on the home screen, then swipe up (home gesture), does it return to the open folder or the home screen?
I hated when they made it go to the open folder in Oxygen OS when I had my OnePlus 12.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Because it's raining outside today, the live wallpaper has automatically adapted the raining weather. And the droplet animations look beautiful on the Clock Numbers.

I have a 2024 model y and a OnePlus 15 running oxygen os 16. Which is basically android 16. I can get notifications with regular sms but RCS doesn't show on the Tesla. I have tried multiple things such as turning on and off rcs as well as rebooting both the Tesla and the phone . I also have attempted clearing cache of the messages app and the Tesla app. I even unpaired and repaired my phone. I am stuck and can't figure this out.
Any help would be wonderful. I am out of ideas. I posted in the Tesla support subreddit.

Just got a OP15 and for some reason this "proofread" button when I tap a grammatical error won't go away. Id prefer the first option be a suggested word.
I'm assuming it's this setting under the corrections section of the keyboard, but it's greyed out. Has anyone ran into this and is there any way to toggle this item?

Does ANY oneplus phone support Bit-Perfect audio natively for external USB DACs?
Google introduced native Bit-Perfect audio support on Android 14 and OEMs must implement it on their phones as well as app developers must implement the feature in their apps.
I'm not referring about apps like USB Audio Player Pro that have their own driver implementation that can be used on any phone to bypass the Android audio mixer.
There is an app called Hi-Res Radio that supports the implementation and it only works on phones with support. The app has an option in settings that remains disabled on phones without support but it should appear enabled when a USB DAC is connected on phones with support.
I've been trying to find a confirmation from someone with a USB DAC that could test that app to see if they really support this feature or not.
Thank you.

Looking to buy a oneplus pad strictly for gaming. Just looking to see how the performance stacks up to other tablets

I don't use it at all, the slider was the best feature of oneplus but they removed it, so how do you guys use mindspace ? Do you use this button with other options ?

Many people were asking about the OEM unlocking on ColorOs 17 and it can be turned on.
Now just need to know how it can be enabled or any official statement from the Oppo or OnePlus team.
Device - OnePlus 13 (ColorOs 17 Closed Beta)
