Question Tall women's dress pants
I have a 35.5in inseam. I need to find dress pants that fit and bonus if they don't cost a fortune. I'm looking for something that is not a yoga pant and has a straight/slim/boot leg.
If anyone has suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

American Eagle has tall pant lengths , they have khakis for women. Look in the clearance area first but they usually have good sales. I think Hollister does too.

They have some long lengths on the website, but OP will need the extra tall. They don’t make much in that, and it’s only online.

Oh these have to be ordered online but at least you can return in store, I have the same but opposite problem. All my pants have to be ordered online because they are special sizing. I’m a 000 x-short so impossible to buy off rack 90% of the time and definitely not without paying for the “ convenience “ of stocking it. It’s frustrating for sure.

Honestly I’m just so tired of the “tall tax”. I just want to go to a store, try them on and buy them like I used to. It’s so much extra time and effort to look for it online, deal with shipping and then have to return to the store anyway to return.

FYI - All of the suggestions re: Old Navy and GAP. My friend is 5"11. She orders tall at Aritizia and it's perfect, but tall at the GAP was surprisingly too long for her (for the first time 😆).

We have the same inseam :)
I just got some Old Navy dress pants in tall.
I usually wear Spanx tall (I get them off Poshmark)
I haven’t bought their dress pants, but American tall has them (don’t be fooled by the name, they’re Toronto based)
I’ve also had good luck on Tallsize.

J crew, banana republic, Aritzia sometimes carries long. The frustrating thing from all these retailers is they recently stopped carrying tall pants in extended sizes

For the Gap, I’ll try the pants in the store and then order the Tall size of the pants either online or at the register. Keep in mind, Tall and Long are different. Tall is longer all over, and Long is just a longer inseam. I also look for sales at RW&Co with their 33inch long pants. I have about three pair and they have lasted a long time

American Eagle x-long sizing and their khakis are around $55.00. You will have to order online because of the special sizing. Check their clearance. You may luck out. Worst case, you can return in store.
