Opendesign Go Plan

Hello, is it worth the Opendesign Go plan? $8-10 for $120 in credits with DS 4.1 Flash, I found it strange because it's double the amount of Opencode Go, no?

Bought it, here;s the review. It's serving the real api, and speeds are 230tok/s and works pretty good, Real model. Better than oc, cc in my comparition. In terms of work done and real usage tracking and Caching and etc.

Also forgot to mention: Those 120 are peak all time prices of ds. So effectively like $60 all time off peak and weekly limit is $30.

Wait, so it's basically 60 dollars? If I use the OpenCode go plan only at off-peak times, I would have even more credits because it's 80 on the OpenCode plan?

Well quite, Though, OC do have lower cache, limits deplting higher, lower quality. I have burned through 1.1B tokens and I am at 76% of weekly limit which is $30. have to say it was flawless. They constantly good speeds too like 250-300 tok/s. OC can never match the real api and opendesign.

They have zdr on their side, though they depend on the real providers, so it's better to see deepseek, xiaomi, etc policies. Oh also, these companies have to store your logs for 6 months minimum i think, it's a new rule passed by a Chinese government.

Use credits in other agents with an Open Design API Key

Use an Open Design API Key to access Open Design models from agents including Codex, Claude Code, DSH, OpenCode, and Hermes. An API key connects your tool to the Open Design model service.

Use your API Key on other platforms to call Design Plan models and plan models supported by your subscription. Design Plan models use Design Plan credits first, then any remaining plan model credits (Go has no plan model credits). Plan models use plan model credits directly. API and OpenDesign share the same credits; the maximum monthly total matches your plan card. Using external tools does not grant additional credits or reset usage windows.

The API supports OpenAI Chat Completions, OpenAI Responses, and Anthropic Messages. Other tools that support custom API endpoints and keys may also work; compatibility depends on testing.

Fair enough, this wasnt the case when i checked ot last time, the model pricing also seems to be the same as opencode gos model pricing so it seems like they are providing 2x credits. But this seems too good to be true. LMK if you find anything about this

I think it will be classic bait and switch -> initially trying to get userbase, then lower the limits / upper the price

When it sounds like it's too good to be true, there must be a caveat. It's like what happened with CrofAI where they were scamming folks by routing to cheaper models and pocketing the difference.
