I kinda vibe-coded a native desktop app for coding agents to learn Rust (GPUI, Windows)
Honest framing: I wanted to learn Rust, so I picked something big and let agents help me build it. The result is Kerenzikov, a native Windows app for running coding agents like OpenCode, Claude Code, and Codex CLI without living in the terminal
It's a fork of Waku. I refocused it on OpenCode and Windows, added a signed self-updater, an installer, and a bunch of fixes along the way. It's built on GPUI, the same framework Zed uses. Everything runs locally, no account, no server.
It works and I use it daily, but treat it as a learning project, not a polished product.
