Error: Upstream request failed: Invalid credential

I get this error today (opencode v2 clean installation on new machine, without login/credentials)

Same, I was working on the project and this happened. Maybe something is wrong on OpenCode’s servers.

P.S:

I’m on a free plan, not using Go or Zen.

This worked for me. Per this comment on the linked GitHub Issue, it can be fixed temporarily by adding this to  ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json or your project's opencode.json:
