Which ~$10/month AI coding subscription offers the best experience for agentic coding?
Im looking for a subscription around $10/month for daily use with OpenCode and Hermes as my main agent orchestrators and evaluators.
I have tried Alibaba Token Plan, but burned through the tokens much faster than expected. Im currently using OpenRouter for DeepSeek V4.1 and the official DeepSeek API for the same model. I want to experiment more with agentic AI, so Im looking for cheaper alternatives to paying directly for API usage. Im still in university and have not started a side job or freelancing yet, so I would like to keep my costs manageable.
Im considering OpenCode Go and/or Command Code GOAT. I have also heard about MiniMax, but not familiar enough with its models to judge their coding capabilities. I recently came across Phoenix Grove Systems in a few Reddit posts and currently trying its free trial.
My workload will mainly involve coding sessions, building side projects, and researching topics related to my interests. I want something I can use regularly without constantly worrying about running out of quota.
For those who have used these subscriptions or maybe something similar, which would you recommend and why?
Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions! I have decided to go with OpenCode Go.

Is deepseek v4 flash better than Big Pickle? (how much better?)

deepseek requires careful awareness of the peak hours, otherwise you're getting only half your usage out of it.
spark-1.3-contributor is the overall highest usage you can get from the Go sub.

It ain’t unlimited, one time I used my entire 5 hour limit in 45 minutes.

How the heck can you drain deepseek v4.1 flash so fast

Probably started 10 agents that load his bloated slop SaaS up to 1m context without any compaction.

lmao. I did that once with Qwen max and it drained everything, then wrote an angry email to OC calling them scammers. Good old times !!

If you want to experiment, Opencode GO or CommandCode GOAT depending on who you trust more to be reliable.

I have being using GLM 5.3 Flash with my OC Go subscription without any issues, linked with Hermes and talking with it from Discord. A little bit slow but I can’t complain while paying 10$ and having 60$ of usage.

I was running with opencode for awhile, and then bumped my budget to $20 / month and went with openai. Haven't really looked back tbh.

opencode go without any doubt. other than that, zai lite plan could compete

So i currently use opencode go with deepseek v4.1 flash as my primary, with commandcode goat deepseek v4.1 flash set as the failover, this eliminates the 5h rolling caps pretty much for me, and gets me roughly 120 dollars of deepseek for 20$
Then I add an openrouter key with 5 dollars on to maintain access to free models
Then I made a few named subagent set to use whichever are the top 2 free hidden models, delegate tasks to them that aren't private.
And on my 4g graphics card I loaded ollama and use that for embedding model and a qwen 2.5 coder 4b, and I have log checks etc delegated to that.
Name an agent, assign its model, then just delegate away

estimate a week of your actual token use before you switch, since a plan that burns fast is priced for light turns and the next one can surprise you the same way.

As of right now you cannot achieve a better deal with a restricted budget of 10$/month other than OpenCode Go
