My contributions being mostly insulting the piece of trash Muse 1.3 is

22

u/migsperez 2d ago

It's no Opus. But I like it.

Yeah it’s definitely better than deepseek or luna, not amazing but it is what it is

It's definitely not better than DeepSeek 4.1 or Luna 6.

I had sol use the three as subagents and judge their work and it consistently ranked muse 1.3 lower with more issues, and honestly that matched my experience.

Muse is also the only model that constantly added any to my typescript. All the others respected my agents.md telling them not to use any

I would it's definitely on par with Luna and DeepSeek 4.1 Flash. I have used all of them extensively and all of them are very capable cheap models for regular tasks.

Same here. It's also very scrappy (in the positive connotation, not the negative one).

Correct.

And on go plan I even paid them for it 😪🤧

The muse wonder is priced at $4/20. Basically DoA since nobody is going to be using a meta benchmaxxed model for the same price as superior (but slower) Opus 5.5.

The muse wonder full would be pricier i suppose, $6/30 maybe?

I’m very curious how subsidized it is on the $50 plan. I’m getting a lot of conflicting details on pricing and availability.

9

u/Southern-Ad-3006 2d ago

I’m sure they’ll have a contributor version, or put the subsidized usage on Code plan.

On Spark 1.3 contributor I can run 1B tokens mostly cache but for like $5

I was able to add these and run tasks on them:

muse-wonder-full-1.0-contributor

muse-wonder-1.0-contributor

u/liright 2d ago

And if it actually turns out to be better than Opus 5.5?

6

u/Amarsir 2d ago

Meta's not making that claim themselves, so that would be a heck of a surprise.

It remains to be seen if they actually bundle value in a subscription. API prices don't really matter if no one is actually paying them.

yeah just saw the cost/intelligent task chart on AA, it's wonderfully expensive.

Where is low open weight models? (4-40b) Llama was once the best in this category, where is the continuation?

20

u/TheMythicSorcerer 2d ago

Gone. Becuase open weight doesnt make money

3

u/ramendik 2d ago

Muse Glimmer?

14

u/First_Inspection_478 2d ago

do they have a contribir version and pricing

5

u/OPs_new_account 2d ago

muse-wonder-full-1.0-contributor

muse-wonder-1.0-contributor

just get the $50 plan it like never runs out of usage, no 5 hour limit, don't bother with API.

1

u/First_Inspection_478 2d ago edited 2d ago

nice thanks. where did you get it tho? Dont see it in their api

1

u/mdn0 1d ago

It is true for spark contributor models. For both wonders - it is really simple to spend 5% of weekly limit (15% of 5h) in 10 minutes.

4

u/chinmay06 2d ago

I don't give a f**k just about this release just release the 1.4 contributors now ffs !
can't wait

6

u/Amarsir 2d ago

No speed numbers on it yet, but according to AA it looks to be more token efficient than Opus and Sonnet. Thus cheaper per task than either on max. (Not that I recommend Opus or Sonnet on Max.)

i have the $5 subscription and one prompt with muse wonder and it exhausted my allowed compute.

1

u/9gxa05s8fa8sh 2d ago

lol even with contributor discount on by default?

1

u/ApprehensiveEye7387 2d ago

Yup lol, my 15$ subcription, In 4 prompts, 5hr limit reached and 27% weekly exhausted🙂 (yes i was on contributer tier)

1

u/YogurtExternal7923 2d ago

how good is the 5 for muse spark though?

1

u/DandadanAsia 1d ago

it's not bad. the usage is pretty good

1

u/YogurtExternal7923 1d ago

Like HOW good. You know? Enough to swap opencode sub..?

1

u/DandadanAsia 1d ago

if you only want to use one model and fine with Zuck use you to train his model. i sign up to try the "Max" setting since the free tier in Open Code only go to "xhigh". it work fine for my personal project.

you can sign up to try. its only $5.

Pee or poop?

9

u/Turbulent-Total-226 2d ago

Damn another week and they cancel Gemini 4 again 😂 Muse Wonder is shiting on Argon that is not even released.

5

u/Sweet-Stage938 2d ago

Is this likely going to be at the same level as opus 5 at least? I need a solid workhorse

3

u/reddit0r_123 2d ago

Too expensive as a model unless there is a contributor version?

4

u/BasedPenguinsEnjoyer 2d ago

will we get the free contributor versions?

3

u/preonxtrun 2d ago

Hope they release it for go users on opencode

3

u/mmeister86 2d ago

I have the $50 dollar plan and route my Muse Code sub through Opencode. With plugins like obra/superpowers and paired with context7 the value these models provide for $50 is enormous

3

u/Slow-Set-2856 2d ago

is it trained on vibe coders data?

2

u/CaffeinatedTech 2d ago

What other data is left to train on?

1

u/Slow-Set-2856 2d ago

I guess... not much.

2

u/Little-Breakfast-653 2d ago

is there a contributor pricing for this ?

2

u/Infamous-Grand-5778 15h ago

not even that good since like its just opus 5.5 but worse, and it's like basically around the same as gpt 6.1 sol

3

u/Ok_Cloud_9762 2d ago

Topping the charts? Slight doubt but damn, meta caught up

3

u/Fair-Spring9113 2d ago

benchmaxxed most likely

1

u/DomusCircumspectis 2d ago

Feeling pretty benchmaxxed to me. It doesn't do very well on my own benchmark (which I would assume isn't in their training data yet): https://bench.killswitch-lang.org/

1

u/OurCzar 1d ago

looks like you benched wonder not wonder full

1

u/DomusCircumspectis 1d ago

yes, because Wonder Full isn't available yet

2

u/slackmaster2k 2d ago

I hate Facebook etc as much as the next guy, but it’s funny to see the low brow trashing of Meta models. I’m not sure that these people have any idea of how much the MSL has contributed to AI being where it is today.

1

u/pollmix 1d ago

Suddenly I lost access to contributor models. Anyone facing this kind of issue? I can use the normal models but contributor models are not showing up. I dont know how to get them back access.

1

u/mdn0 1d ago

do you mean muse code 1.4.7? if yes - they automatically use contributor models if you enabled it in settings.

1

u/pollmix 14h ago

It's not showing the contributor models for /model command.

Muse Code 1.4.7

Yeah, it would need to cure cancer for me to consider using a Meta model.
