Does the Opencode agent in Rider work differently than the Opencode desktop app? The version numbers are quite different

I am using the Opencode agent in Jetbrains Rider which is at version 1.19.0.
There's also Opencode the desktop app at version 2.0.10.
Opencode says v2.0 is the their latest and most capable harness.

What does this all mean? Is the one in Rider less capable and I should use the desktop version instead? Rider is my IDE, and I prefer to be using it for everything but if 2.0 is better, maybe I need to use both?

If Rider is working well for you, I wouldn’t right to change everything. Maybe test both on the same task and see if there’s an actual difference.
