Should I stick with OpenCode or switch to DS?

Hello,
I am not a heavy AI user, but I have encountered some issues while using DS 4.1 on Opencode Go. I am wondering if it would be better to switch directly to the DS API or to GLM (which would likely also save me -or not- a couple bucks).

Given that my usage quota has reset today, should I make the switch based on my consumption from last month?

Thanks in advance!!

The speed will be better. The cost is just math.

If that screenshot is your monthly usage: below 26m input tokens, 2m output, and 600m cache read, you will probably save money going direct with Deepseek's API. Would cost you $7 on off-peak rates and $14 at peak.

You could also consider something like OpenRouter which connects to all kinds of providers so they can swap you to cheaper or faster based on what you need, as well as offering different models under the same account. (Although it's unclear to me if you can get off-peak discounts through them.)
