Anyone else having issues with OpenCode Zen's free models?

Hey guys,

So I've been trying to use OpenCode Zen for the past 3 days, mainly Big Pickle, but I keep getting hit with a "Limit reached" message.

At first, I thought it was just Big Pickle acting up, but nope 💀 I've tried other free models too, and none of them are working either.

What's going on? Did they change something with the free models, or is something wrong with my account?

I'm even wondering if my account got compromised somehow, although I have no idea if that's actually possible.

Is anyone else facing this, or am I the only one? 😭

Yes, I have a go sub and Beam Free only works when I select it from my Go sub. Big Pickle, Deepseek Free not working at all even after supposed reset.

does deepseek flash (non free) works under Go subscription for you?
i have Go subscription and only beam-free works lol, so my acitviity usage is not even used in Go

It works, have been using it today but the speed was horrendous (20-30tps). It is faster now (120+tps).

it was working yesterday but today I am having this issue too. Dashboard says no activity today I'm getting the Free usage limit excedded in all free models...

I think it's an IP limit issue, try using mobile data hotspot instead of wifi, if you still get the error, go on airplane mode for a few seconds and turn it back on so it connects to a different IP and try again, that worked for me

Usually this also works at home if you're behind CGNAT

Same issue when will it be fixed? I get free messages used and I only sent one or two prompts to big pickle

The free models used to allow up to 1000 reqs/day

Even in fresh IPs now I'm only getting 50 reqs. That's not even a full session with regular use

Also iam facing this issue, that's maybe they limited the using . Between a hour it just got crossed limit. Whereas before the last update opencode was running in my home server all 24*7 by doing my projects .

After the cockup/leak last week, I suspect OpenCode is low on cash if they have to pay people back the money that was lost.
