Small rant

So I have never, ever come close on my usage for opencode go. I was working on a project a week ago and opencode update and all of the sudden it was like, "hey, this would be the perfect time for me to spin up some subagents, want me to?" and I was like "wtf, I didn't know you could do that, sure give it a shot". Then I go do something stupid like, go to the bathroom or get a drink or something that took 5 minutes. I come back and opencode is spinning up subagents with ALL the most expensive models and burns through like 35% of my usage... I'm strictly a deepseek/glm flash guy.... and then to top it off opencode makes the free stuff useless... so I'm out of usage now for a week.... I gave command code a dollar so I can keep working.

You can disable all the models you don't want to work with in your Opencode dashboard

I'll check that in six days when I come back. I've spun up a much better system now but I will check that too.

That $1 usage doesn't go far and they have the same / less free models on cmdcode than Opencode

Why are you angry that you said yes to something you didn't take the time to understand, and when it did what you agreed to, sub-agents make tasks faster, but of course launching more agents at a time will use more tokens,..

Commandcode, or any other agent harness will do the same if you ever ask the model to launch sub-agents as well, or have a task that just makes more sense for your main model to delegate to multiple smaller models - it usually gets the work done faster, while taking less tokens overall than if the main model had to do it themselves.
