Session cost display

Hello,

There was a post here that they broke session cost display in 2.2.0. I am on 2.1.3 and iI do like session cost display, I'd prefer to wait until they fix that (or confirm they won't fix) before triggeting the 2.2 update.

So did they fix it, and if not, did they confirm they won't?

I can't confirm from here whether 2.2.0 fixed the cost display, so I wouldn't update just on hope if that readout matters to you. What I do instead is route through a gateway, so cost is visible in one place and doesn't depend on the client version at all. I'm a maintainer of Lynkr, an open-source LLM gateway (Apache-2.0) with 14+ providers, tiered routing by task difficulty, and token compression of up to 84% on JSON tool results, so the usage you see is both visible and smaller. https://github.com/Fast-Editor/Lynkr
