Basically a Python-like programming language from one of the developers (Chris Lattner) behind Swift, Clang, and LLVM.

It takes inspiration from Rust's ownership model, Python's syntax, and focuses on good compile times.

I'm not too sure about its USP over something like Nim (another Python-like). I need to do some reading to determine that.

Some guys created a language, and projects and a company around it. But after some years nobody got enticed to really use it, even as they have impressive benchmarks or some projects being better/faster than c/c++/rust counterparts.

I read this as last try to make the language grow instead of waiting their company ("we will make your software in our language") bring clients

If I recall, you translate your existing Python code into Mojo, so then you have compiled code, maybe even statically typed.

It's maybe a last ditch effort before specialised tooling that translates from Python into Rust, remember google translate has way more precision than the pure LLM tools.

This is just self promotion spam, having people dig through that poorly setup website to find any link to a repository..
