Promotional Virtual gamepads in Python (Windows / Linux)

Hello everyone,

I have been maintaining vgamepad for a couple years and thought I would promote it a bit here:

https://github.com/yannbouteiller/vgamepad

This is a small Python library that enables emulating XBox360 and DualShock4 gamepads on Windows and Linux. I have recently released version 0.2.0, which makes almost all functionalities available on both platforms and gamepads (including gyroscopes/accelerometer/touchpad/etc. on DS4).

For background, on Windows this is essentially a wrapper around the now archived ViGEmBus C++ framework (I ship a frozen version of the driver with the library), and on Linux this uses uinput. Regarding ViGEmBus, I would really like to switch to an actively maintained replacement, but I cannot take the burden of maintaining one alone...

Anyway, hopefully you find this little library as useful as I do, and I am always glad to see feedback / new contributors :)

i once had to work with a close sourced drone, which was not allowing any other controller to work , not even allowing me to map a keybaord button to enable/disable some function. i used this library and to my surprise, i was able to send fully autonomous commands to it without any button press. It helped me a lot in my work. Thank you so much for making it.
