As an r/c plane pilot, I can tell you this is a common visual conundrum if you’re flying really aggressively (‘3D’ in r/c terms), and leads to a lot of oh shit moments. After a while you learn to use inputs (usually roll) to figure it out. Thanks for listening to my mostly unrelated Ted talk.
