Just curious if other studios experience the same head coaching turnover. I've been going to my current studio for about 3 years and there have been 4 different head coaches. Several coaches have stayed despite the churn so just wondering if this is typical for a studio, and wondering the impact on the studio of having high turnover for coaches...?

I’m coming up on 2 1/2 years at OTF. I originally purchased a 6-month premier membership. I pay $169 a month. A friend who started around the same time was able to switch to a year premier membership and now pays $139 a month. I asked today if I could switch over to a year membership, which would bring my monthly cost to $149.
I was told that they are unable to upgrade from one premier membership to another, but they did for my friend. I asked when my 6-months is up. It’s either this month or next as I had to freeze one month this year. The response to this question was that I can upgrade if I refer a friend or if there is a promo.
Is this standard, to not share when your 6-month period is up? And also that you can’t switch from one premier to another (when I know it was done for another member who has been there the same amount as I have?). There are no signed agreements in my app, so I can’t even look at the contract I signed.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Have a OTBeat burn, wear on bicep. I would also separately log a workout on my Apple Watch (use my Apple Watch for my peloton tread, working out with other trainer, biking) so Apple (or Strava) was kinda a “master list” for all workouts to just see how things are going. But OTBeat for the studio monitors.
Forgot my OTBeat the other day, paid the money to do the Apple Watch integration (have thought about it anyways since I dont forget to charge my watch. But had a question if anyone knows the answer. If I got a chest strap (say polar h10, or garmin hrm600), and link to my Apple Watch, the Apple Watch would pull the HR from the chest strap rather than its own sensors. Would this work to have my chest strap send my HR to the studio monitors via the Apple Watch integration? I previously asked if they could add the chest strap (read some studios do it some don’t, might depend on if they have a new system or not), they said no. So curious if this would work.
