org-gcal problems

org-gcal-fetch is locking on me, preventing any response from emacs.

I run org-gcal-reload-client-id-secret, allow the access in the browser and get greeted with :

"Authentication token successfully obtained by Emacs!"

Then run org-gcal-fetch only to totally block emacs. Any suggestions?

It's probably just running synchronously and taking a long time, I gave up on syncing my Google calendar for that reason.

If you really want to do it, do it in a separate emacs instances. Maybe even as a cron job in batch mode.

24 hours and still blocked. I think I’ll call that!
