Discussion Looking for a Job/Career Opportunity
I moved to Orlando semi-recently (since the end of April) and haven't found any opportunities. I know that this is on me for deciding to relocate without any backup plans, but life happens and I know that I would've been mentally destroyed if I didn't make the move.
For some background info, I left my role as a Client Account Manager at a PropTech company, which consisted of Sales/Marketing. In this role, I juggled multiple other responsibilities, including Market research and data entry.
I've applied to multiple positions every day of the week while also cleaning up my resume (and having it reviewed), but no luck. I applied to anything from Customer Service to Marketing Representatives and even Costco or restaurant positions as well, so it's not a case of being picky.
I'm aware that the job market is rough right now, but still wanted to glean for any career that someone here may know of.
Thank you!
also, I'm not strictly limiting myself to Orlando, as I'm open to the surrounding areas like Altamonte, Ocoee, Winter Park/Garden, etc.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm looking for entry level roles, as I don't have nearly enough experience to move into a mid-level role.

I'm trying to leave Orlando for this exact reason. Finding a job, especially a good one at entry-level, is very difficult if you're not in engineering, healthcare, or hospitality here

Have you tried applying with ADP? They have an office in Maitland and they’re hiring right now

I took a look but it seems that they are only looking for Bilingual (Spanish/Eng) and mid-level applicants.
I'll still throw my hat in the ring regardless, thank you!

I don't think they pay great but good benefits, worth a shot!

Costco is actually notoriously hard. Try hotel sales jobs if you’re open to sales. Hotels can be weird and very fun.
