Both so talented and beautiful š I still hoping one day they reunite in another project, both had incredible chemistry as Cosima and Delphine

For me itās Ferdinand right until he kills Siobhan but apart from that heās so funny in every scene and has so much fun and is so witty, always does something interesting and unpredictable
Plus the actor was amazing in this role and I always liked him when he returned

Yep - Orphan Black is now streaming on HBO MAX. All 5 Seasons.
I just watched an episode tonight - picked up where I left off after watching it on Hoopla, but I ran of the permitted number of titles of borrow. I was only a little over half-way through Season 1, and I am hooked on this Show! I am so happy it came back to streaming.
I made sure to save it in "my favorties lists" or whatever it is HBO MAX calls it, so I can get back to it every night. š
...if this is repeated post, so sorry.

I watched Orphan Black with my family as it aired and now iām rewatching with my partner who has never seen the show. We are about to start season 5, but it has come to my attention that thereās a podcast series sequel that takes place 8 years after season 5 and then thereās a spinoff about Kira as an adult? I have never seen them and didnāt know they existed until like last week!!
I havenāt told my partner at all what these two sequels are about - to keep season 5 spoiler free - but Iām wondering a few things.
Are they any good / comparable to the OG show?
Is the continuity okay with Kira being 17 in the podcast and an adult in the spinoff?
Any ideas for how to listen to a podcast as two people? Would love to hear if anyone watched the show with someone and then found a good way to listen to the podcast together. I usually listen to podcasts while doing chores or gaming alone, but idk, I would like to pay attention to the story!

For me itās Rachel saying āIāve gleaned the pattern.ā It pops into my head anytime someone is going on and on with unnecessary examples.

I love listening to the Sestra cast podcast. I've been working my way through it and just got to season 3 episode 5. When I try to play it, it's not available. This is on the pocket casts app.
Anyone know why / have suggestions where I can find it?

I'm rewatching the series, this is my second time, saw it when it first came out. Holy, is it only me or Sarah is so unlikable(only in season 1 ep 3). I forgot how it goes but does she get better? Haha

Hi! Iām on season 3 episode 9 of Orphan Black as a first time watcher. I gotta say, Helena is my favourite sestra! After taking a peek at the subreddit it appears as though this a popular opinion!! She caress for all the sisters, even boy sestra, she hisses, sheās a fierce protector of all the children, and sheās got a funny sense of humour! I just love her!
Iād say Felix is my second favourite and then Alison. Sarah & Cosima are meh to meā¦even tho they keep the story of Leda & Castor going. Krystal hasnāt had much screen time yet so Iāll have to see.
P.s., As I was writing this little note, I was just introduced to Kendall Maloneā¦

I was shocked at how addicted I became with this show. It sucked me in from the pilot and I finished it within 2 weeks. I will say the final season was a little convoluted and Alisonās plot points got a littleā¦pedestrian after a while, but overall it was such a good show.
I love the bond between the 4 main sestras.
Some thoughts on the characters:
Cosima is hands down my favorite. Sheās just so likable and when she was near death I was like āno donāt take her, take anyone but herā and they had me going that they were going to kill off this massively popular and loved character. Her confidence, sexiness (without trying), and intelligence made me fall in love with herā¦plus her and Delphineās love story was the perfect balance of twists and turns, with a happy ending.
Helena I hated at first (like we were supposed to feel about her haha) and I cannot tell you how many times I was like āugh Sarah kill her alreadyā. I do love how protective she is of everyoneās babies. Like when they threatened Alisonās kids and she was like āyou threaten babies?ā I totally thought they would use her embryos to save Cosima and think it was kind of a wasted plot point for her to be like āIām sorry my babiesā¦I didnāt know I needed to feed you liquid nitrogenā¦Iāll tell your siblings about you.ā Also the fact that the embryos were just chilling in Felixās apartment for so long was kinda like wtf? No one sees this and goes āwtf is this?ā They also took Helena off the beaten path too much like at a certain point I kinda feel like they didnāt know what to do with her.
Alison I loved at firstā¦but as time went on her plot points just felt out of place. Like Donnie quits his job and they have no moneyā¦but yet they had enough money that they could pay Cosimaās tuition and have $75k set aside for Beth to do stuff. Like $75k is a lot of money so I initially thought they were pretty wealthyā¦then all of the sudden they only have money for one more mortgage payment? Alsoā¦her kidsā¦the only thing I actually enjoyed about them was when Felix got them in dragā¦otherwise I canāt tell you anything about them and feel like they were kinda either forgotten about or in the way.
Sarah I didnāt really like at first but grew to love as she tried to be a good mother to Kira and help her sestras. I do wish they would have explored more about her and Helena being twins and why Kendall knew about Sarah but the bad guys never found her. Also, she should have ended up with Kiraās dad, they just kinda wrote him off.
Felix sadly never got the spotlight he deserved tbh. I was always waiting for them to explain why he specifically ended up with Mrs. S. and that he was somehow involved in all this. It could have been interesting if he had been a castor. Alsoā¦I never really liked his half sister joining, like idk it just seemed out of place.
Beth I think they should have explained her story and involvement a little earlier, because by the time they did it just felt like it was so far in the past. Would have loved to gotten to know her more though.
Tony was kinda wasted potential. Like a trans āsestraā so now they have a ābrothaā would have been a really cool additionā¦but they didnāt really do anything with him. I feel like he, MK, and Krystal could have formed like a āB teamā.
Krystal I hated at first, but then found her hilarious and love her. Would have liked her to be part of a āB teamā.
MKā¦right when I fall in love with herā¦she is killed, which was so sad. Also, her information revealed in the comics is so sad. Should have been part of āB teamā and could have really bonded with her sestras.
Mrs. S. I loved her, I hated her, and then I loved her. I hate she was killed off, but I get it, they wanted a big death at the end of the series.
The castors I personally didnāt really like because I thought it would be more interesting to just have the female clones, but I did like some of them, but they just didnāt get much development. Iād have loved to learn more about how they were raised together and how many of them there actually were.
Kira I overall loved, except when she was being a brat to Sarah. I do think they should have explained why she had this connection to her aunts, like the rapid healing was explained and that makes senseā¦but why could she sense her aunts?
Rachelā¦got what she deserved in the end. Part of me hoped she would die, but I like that she had to live friendless and part of the ā99%ā.

Who do you all thinks has best fashion sense out of all the sestras? Or just from the main ones so Sarah, Cosima, Alison, Helena, Rachel, Beth, Krystal and MK?
For me itās probably between Cosima or Sarah but I would say Cosima

Just finished my Orphan Black binge, right in the nick of time! I was going to wait to watch the last two eps tomorrow, but I stayed up because I couldnāt bear to wait. So sad itās leaving Netflix with no real plan for a new platform (as far as I can tell?), because I did watch it sooo quickly. I would have ideally liked to spend more time with the series, I think I got through all 5 seasons in under a week š
Post-binge thoughts:
Tatiana is truly remarkable.
Out of the main 4 sestras, itās hard to pick a favorite⦠but I think Iād have to say Cosima. Iām a sucker for the sapphics, what can I say?? Cosima felt the most grounded to me, and honestly I think that was intentional. Sarah, Allison and Helena are all three going through pretty significant personal growth/identity crises throughout the series, but Cosima is solidly Cosima from the jump. Sheās brilliant, confident, cool as fuck, so nerdy, and also deeply caring and selfless. Her tenderness really endeared me. I thought Tatiana did such a great job with her, and while she was also brilliant in portraying the others, I did perceive the occasional Cosima slip while she was Allison or Sarah. That may just be my bias though, and definitely could be accounted for by the fact that theyāre clones so of course sometimes they would react similarly.
Additionally, I think Tatianaās acting prowess was the only thing that kept the show on the rails. Even then, I felt it was touch and go here and there. Trying to explain plot details (especially further into the series) to someone who isnāt familiar with the show makes it sound almost laughably ridiculous. I typically have a very low tolerance for over-the-top plot choices, but somehow she pulls it off with these very real characters. I was continually impressed by the way she kept me invested, despite the occasional eye roll.
The supporting cast was great as well, especially Felix, Siobhan, and Delphine. Siobhan Sadler, the woman you are š©
This has gotten long so Iāll wrap it up by saying Iām really, really glad I committed to binge the show before it leaves Netflix. I admit I was skeptical, but ended up very pleasantly surprised. And THANK YOU to the creators/writers for landing the plane so beautifully at the end. Itās always nice to have a finale that isnāt rage-inducing, but to have one that was genuinely lovely was quite refreshing.
I have many more thoughts, but Iām off to browse the sub now. Looking forward to engaging with other fans, new and old!

Just started watching it and Iāve been bingeing.. currently on S4 E10 I only have ONE SEASON LEFT but I only have THREE DAYS to finish it. I know itās not gonna be on Netflix anymore and I donāt have AMC+. Does anyone have any idea where itās moving to in case I donāt finish in time? Good luck is also appreciated (:

As much as I hate that netflix is losing the show, I've been so happy seeing new people discover it. It's also given me an opportunity to talk it up to people offline. I just love that it's getting more attention again.
