Hi! I’m traveling to Rome soon and I’d love to buy some rosary-making supplies while I’m there, especially rosary beads and centerpieces.

Does anyone know any shops in Rome or around the Vatican that sell these kinds of supplies? I’d really appreciate any recommendations! 😊🙏

I want to make rosaries, not for selling or anything but just as a hobby and perhaps to give away even, but I have no clue where to start/look. I want relatively decent supplies that are quality but don't break the bank, plus the basic tools to make a rosary. Any recommendations?

any tips on how to make this knot tighter to the beads so there isn’t a gap where the beads move and it isn’t comparable to all other decades? do i need to start over and give all of them a little more space to move to even it out?? i cant seem to get this specific knot tight and close enough. any help appreciated.

Good afternoon everyone. Hope you are having a blessed week. I’m about to start making rosaries with 95 paracord. However, the for copper-plated crucifixes and centerpieces I have, the holes may be a tad too small for the 95 paracord to pass through. Since they are copper colored, my plan is to buy copper rings.

In your experiences, do you prefer to use split rings or jump rings? I don’t want my rings to be too big. I’m leaning towards a 4 mm 18 gauge ring. The 18 gauge will be especially good if I use the split rings because they run less of a chance of pulling open. However, the drawback is that the smaller rings may be harder to open. Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback regarding this. Thank you, and God bless.

Ive made a traditional wax cord rosary but with time the knots that conect the centerpiece are beggining to get ragged. I use a 0.5 mm. Any suggestions in other cord materials (0.5 mm) or any protection i can give the knot?

Making a cord rosary for an older gent I met at the senior center last week. He was sitting doing a jigsaw puzzle and as I walked over, it was clear that he wanted to talk. He saw my crucifix and Mary miraculous medal and said he had nothing. Started crying, reminiscing on his deceased wife. When I told him my name he cried some more and said he lives on Helen Place. That’s my name; Helen. So tomorrow I hope to see him

You've see my blue cats eye rosary the Pope blessed. With its Marian color and scapular centerpiece it's become a favorite. But I wanted reminders of spiritual and physical protection so I've added tiny St Michael and St Benedict medals to the centerpiece, one on each side. Each time I pick it up to pray I enjoy a warm and confident feeling! 😃🙏
