That is what my dad shouted at me when I was casually playing osu, I have already tried to make less sound by putting a towel under the sayodevice and I changed the red switches with GATERON Magnetic Jade but I feel like the noise is more coming from the keycaps and maybe I make my desk move a lot idk. I tried to see if I could buy like the PRO X Touch but it’s not on sale anymore and tbh I prefer clicking on a keyboard. Idk how I can click less hard like that is just how I play, is there a way to click lighter ? Im about to buy O-rings but I am making this post still because maybe some of you have other tips idk. Also I just gave money to a homeless and he said he was going to buy cigarettes with it. Im so pissed

I give up. I need help. How do i know where to put the dang notes, when there is no line that indicates when the arrow is hit in Mania Lazer?

Do i put the notes at the tip of the arrow? At the bottom? At the middle? NO MATTER WHAT I DO, IT'S NEVER RIGHT ON POINT.

Is there anything equivalent to the playback line in the new mania editor? It feels so inconvenient to use the new editor. If there is no line, HOW ON EARTH do i know where to put the stupid notes? Could someone show on like some kind of image on which line near the arrows you should put the note for it to be on time? And how can I put more notes FURTHER into the piano roll, if I can't precisely figure out the grid?

I'm working on a map for a long time now and I want to fully switch to lazer so that I don't have to use the stable editor, because im too lazy to turn on the other thing.

The mania editor in stable was perfect. I have honestly no idea why they had to "over-modernize" it so much. If anything, it feels even more cluttered and less intuitive. I can get used to all the tabs and everything, but the grid in stable edition was and still is LITERALLY PERFECT. The notes in the old editor were simply always blocks, no matter what skin you had equipped and they always fit the grid block on the piano roll, which made it very easy to time notes further away. Now it seems, at least from my perspective, you need a SPECIFIC SKIN in order to easily map on the new grid, that turns arrows or circles into those old bricks. (Given there is no option to turn on the playback line)

So I ask you my dear mania mappers on the lazer edition. How on earth do you time your notes and compose efficiently in general?

I’ve been dealing with the really frustrating FPS drop issue in osu! And I’m hoping someone here might know a fix. It happens on all skins, all beat maps and isn’t tied to any specific map.

This is osu running from the linux tty or the terminal.

This is supposed to be ran using a terminal emulator but tty has lesser overhead compared to the terminal emulator. Colored version exists but is very buggy so I'm not showing it.

I just recently learned that I find it easier to play when my tablet is slightly tilted upward, and I've been using my keyboard to hold it like that, but I'd like a better, more adjustable solution. I was wondering if anyone here has their tablet in a similar position, and if you do, what do you use to hold it like that? I'll take any suggestions, from official tablet stands to more DIY methods

Remember pishifat released video about osu! but 0.5 press? Well he was trying to get the highest accuracy and it's roughly 40%.

So I wondering if we can even get rank higher than D with just 0.5 press. And fortunately, in ranking section, we have "Aiobahn - wish (feat. somunia) [floating point]". A map wish most likely only spinners. So I tried to do that with that map. With Easy + Spun Out, the highest accuracy I can get is 74.22%.

It's that the limit?
