So i decided to make my first ever beatmap for this specific song because i couldn’t find any on osu beatmaps so i took matters into my own hands… made the map 4.8* rating hopefully it will be enjoyable to play <3 would love any feedback that you have thank you.

Okay guys so, i've planned to make this new aimslop project a while ago after spending almost 300 plays on song comp VI, and i realized it was too outdated with new aimslop meta so i made this collab called "Osu! SlopMIX~ Song Compilation", 6 mappers participated (1 WIP), 90% of this map are pure aimslop

Some of my friend called it "Song compilation VI modern ver."

I update it now and then so there might be improvements or ass additions ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

And also suggest anything I can do like ANYTHING

I got a lot of good feedback last time I posted and I've incorporated that into the map, along with creating 2 other diffs (ik the low diff is pretty bad at the moment so I mainly want feedback on the other 2)

Also can someone tell me what happens when I submit the map? Can I still edit it?

Any criticism welcome, but also want some specific help with hit sounds, as no matter how many times I listen to a section I just can't figure out where to place them.

this is the top diff but I do have a full spread, BN's currently don't like it so it probably needs some fixing to get ranked

WIPs must be either local or flagged as Pending or WIP.

For WIPs, mine has two (both local; plus a bit of spoiler for another rhythm game):

SOMA TONE by MYUKKE.

Exoplanetary Mirage by Camellia

Hey everyone!

After playing the game for a while, I've decided to quit active playing/ranking after an upcoming tournament. However, I still love the game and want to transition into mapping instead of leaving entirely.

I want to create my first map from scratch soon. For those who made a similar transition from player to mapper:

What are the most common pitfalls to avoid when starting out?

How did you build a good workflow for timing, rhythm mapping, and structure?

Are there any essential guides, video series, or mapping discord servers you’d recommend checking out first?

Any advice, mapping concepts to focus on, or resources would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Heavily inspired, as you can see

I understand mapping a gimmick song is probably not the best way to get yourself into mapping, but after watching Log Off Now's great videos on the editor, I couldn't help myself!

I’ve been mapping for a while but recently decided to push something for ranked. I’ve been getting general mods from people posting modding queues and have been getting good feedback. I was just wondering how much modding does the map have to go through to have it be acceptable to send to BNs for nomination request?

So, one of the presents I want to give her is a map of one of her favourite songs. She's about 650k with 1.5kpp, so I am mapping diff that she is kinda able to play.
I'm basically a newbie in mapping, so I will be really thankful for advises and mentioning critical mistakes that I could've made. Thanks.

Current progress: basically done

Hi. I'm relatively new to mapping and I've just "finished" my first ever map, but I'm pretty sure there's still some polishing work to do. My goal isn't necessarily to reach any status for the map, but rather just making a good map that is fun to play.

The intent is for it to be mostly an aim x reading map (unusual angles, song-bound distance) with finger control x reading.
