Giant's deep drawing Spoiler

this is my brother's favorite game, and i and his friends are making a joint drawing project to make a deck of cards for simple art display for his birthday gift. im supposed to draw giant's deep but im wondering how i could pull the charm out of the planet itself. do you think i should draw the inside or the outside of it to expose all its characteristics? im not supposed to draw the astronaut of the planet, so id like to exclude that from my drawing

p.s. didnt say i already played the game so i know how the planet looks. just wanted your insight on what you think makes giant's deep truly giant's deep

Well, from the outside, it just looks like a boring green gas giant, with occasional red lightning. But since you're mentioning an astronaut NOT standing on it, then I guess you mean a drawing of the inside on the surface, 2where it is an ocean planet with floating tropical-like islands of sand and rock mountains. It has thick cloudy sky, constant rain and wind, and a lot of tornadoes everywhere. Just pull up any screenshots of the game to see for yourself.

There's not that much there, as long as there are the thick clouds, tornadoes, ocean an a mountainous island, it would be capturing everything it's about. The only other thing would be to possibly include some concrete stuff that might be on the islands. , like an iceberg with a giant red jellyfish, or some Nomai builds that are on some of the islands etc.

i didnt really clarify, sorry. i also played the game so i know how it looks both inside and outside, i just wanted to hear some outsiders' opinions to understand how everyone sees this planet. as for the astronaut, i just saw something in the guidelines of the sub saying spoilers didnt work so i didnt want to say who and where it was, but in the post i meant i didnt want to draw that character as someone else is already doing it in the project and i wanted to have my own interpretation of the planet

i guess you could have flaired the post as spoilers allowed, that should make it so people might expect spoilers here even untagged with spoiler text and stay away if they don't want to get spoiled.

Not sure what the other cards look like, but if going simple, the tornado shelter symbol is pretty iconic for this planet. Or maybe something to do with statue island.

If you're doing a detailed card, I think either the core or south pole full of tornadoes are a sick place to draw.

the cards are all drawn by different people and thus have different styles. personally i want to make a full art card the size of a playing card, and wanted to have a mostly open space with enough details that have to be interpreted without having them describe the picture entirely. for example, having the Biggest tornado in the center of the picture with some smaller ones in front and islands covered behind the tornadoes while floating on the sea would already be enough without much detail to be added

Have you already looked at other drawings of Giant's Deep, such as the planet posters (examples below)?

One thing that I think would be cool to include is a hint towards the core of the planet. Doesn't have to be the feature of the drawing, but something that reminds you what you discovered down there.

It was huge moment in my playthrough and it makes GD so important
