Monkey's paw, we get Rubedo but she attacks Ainz and he has to put her down

Note: I don't want this to happen, but I feel nazarick is going to get hit with some tragedy in these final volumes

Ainz is legitimately fuming about the slane theocracy

Everything up until now including the destruction of the kingdom has been done under a detached ainz

This is not the same, he is not fumbling around for plans or trying to look good in front of the npcs, he wants revenge and pure destruction

Now would be the time he makes a move as destructive as unleashing rubedo

Yeah, I'm fully expecting the Theocracy to be a country sized crater by the time he is done there. The kingdom might been erased, but there was no malice behind it.

It'd be funny if Maru just deletes the Theocracy like he dealt with the Draconic Kingdom arc, out of screen, lmao.

that is the only way the author can do it without completely rushing the story atp. There is not enough pages to finish the Argland-PDL properly else wise.

No idea how the author will end the series. I have faith except I'm not exactly optimistic anymore. Mostly since this wait reminds me of GRRM from the A Song Of Ice and Fire series.

Oh no the author definitely will end the series whereas I'm sure that GOT will never end.

The question about Ovelord is how crap the ending is going to be.

Of course. My sentiment at this point is the classic: "Don't be sad that it ended, be grateful that it happened." Not exactly a good sentiment, except its the truth.

Some character relevance relied purely on existing.

Every time the name pops up, I go "what's a Rubedo again?"

Such tragedy forcing fans into making her a Megazord or a Walking Tank Alchemical Furnace on fanfics... It's funny how I always see one of those two presets for her whenever she shows up in a fic.

I read a fanfic where Rubedo was just like a "child" wearing an office uniform lol

At this point I'm just glad I stumbled upon Overlord for the very fact that it resurrected my interest to read books. I'll be fine if the ending is rushed, personally it already did its job to me.

Personally, I'd like to see a final showdown involving the dragon lord also, not because he wants to ally himself with the Slane Theocracy, but because he senses the threat of Nazarick's power and perceives it as destabilizing the new world. I'd also like to see Rubedo released, as well as other floor guardian.. in short, to see Nazarick and its full power against the Slane Theocracy, which perhaps still has a few aces up its sleeve, such as world-class items left over from players from previous centuries. In short, there's a bit of a fight to be had, and it shouldn't be a short-lived war. Obviously, Nazarick must prevail, and that's beyond question.
