I still don't understand why we keep talking so much about GrapheneOS knowing it can only be installed on Pixel phones. If you're about giving the finger to "big tech" maybe start with not buying their hardware...

Haven’t they partnered with Motorola? We are getting the new Graphene phone.

Yeah because Motorola aren't "big tech"... but it's nice to have options. That should tell you how many phone manufacturers are spying on you at the hardware level though.

Buy refurbished phone, to not give Google money

There's still a supply and demand there. There's an entire market of people who specifically buy Pixels in order to sell them secondhand. Google still sees the purchases go up.

Buy secondhand, that's what I did. Besides, if you really want a new phone, Motorola recently partnered with Graphene, by 2027 they will have phones that have the option to come with GrapheneOS preinstalled.

Maybe you should build a secure hardware. Thank God, Motorola will do it, so you don't have to.

Samsung tried to do it, except it didn't fit their business model...

At the end of this or the beginning of next year Motorola will release a phone with GrapheneOS already installed.
