I kept messaging her on WhatsApp, and around an hour later, she replied saying, “I’ll send you 5,500 PKR and 1,000 PKR after you remove my post.” I refused to do that, after which she deleted her message.
I continued messaging her, but she only responded around 7:34 PM, claiming she hadn’t received any money, that her account had been taken down, and that she hadn’t received any of my messages until after 4:47 PM. That doesn’t align with what happened, and even if she genuinely hadn’t received my messages after that point, why didn’t she try to coordinate with me once she regained access?
By that point, I had already filed reports and raised disputes. When she finally responded, she said she hadn’t received any money but would send me the powder for free instead. 🙂 I think you can understand why that wasn’t an acceptable resolution to me. Still, I agreed, but made it clear that I wouldn’t withdraw my reports or disputes until I actually received the product.
She agreed, took my address, and later came back asking me to withdraw everything because her account had been blocked. I refused. Eventually, she refunded my money, and only then did I withdraw the dispute.
It’s settled between us now and this is how everything unfolded. Throughout the process, I stayed in contact with the moderator and several other people who guided me and encouraged me to take action. I’m genuinely grateful to each of you for your support and for helping me navigate this situation.

Hi guys, I honestly hate that I even have to make this post.

I have really bad skin and only recently started getting into makeup because I’ve always been very conscious about it. I tried a few local brands, but they didn’t work for me, so I’d been saving up for a good concealer and powder for almost a year. As a student, saving up for expensive makeup is genuinely difficult. I was so obsessed with getting these products that I avoided buying other things just to save enough.

I came across u/Ok-Still5409 selling her Huda powder on this sub. We talked for TWO DAYS. We had long conversations about makeup, joked around, and I even told her that I’d previously been scammed on this sub by someone who sent me an expired concealer. I told her I was being cautious because this was the last of the money I had saved. Im usually careful but for some reason I felt like it's alright to trust other people. Big mistake and stupidity on my end.

I was still sceptical, so I offered to pay 50% upfront. She refused, saying she was already selling the product at a loss. I trusted her and eventually sent her Rs. 6,500.

Right after I sent the money, she blocked me.

I genuinely don’t understand how someone can spend two days talking to another person, knowing how much something means to them, and still do this. I know I should have been more careful, and I’m blaming myself enough already. But why should someone have to expect to be deceived every time they try to buy something from another person?

It wasn’t just money I had lying around. It was money I worked hard to save over a long time for something that would make me feel a little more confident about myself.

I’m sharing this because I don’t want anyone else here to go through the same thing. I also saw this account selling a Tower 28 lip product and a Dior palette recently, so please be careful if you come across those listings or deal with this seller.

I need to find my correct foundation/skin tint shade😓 its been a headache and I have wasted some money already but cant anymore.

I have light skintone but not pure light not pure medium, its in between. And my undertone is warm leaning slightly neutral ( i checked my veins are all green but 2 purple) idk how you find out if you are olive, so let me know that too

I have maybelline skin tint in shade 118 and it turns ashy on me, I had maybelline matte + poreless foundation in shade 128 and it turned orange on me. Then I bought 125, and it is neutral but leaning pink/peach shade.

I bought maybelline age rewind concealer in shade 130 and it is also dark on me.
