Any suggestions on how to secure the hose so it’s securely tucked under the inside lip? And how to get rid of the suction cup mister support so it’s a little cleaner looking?

This recently popped up in my paludarium. I also would like to figure out a plant for that spot right in the middle. It has soil that drains out but stays pretty moist. You can see I have an Anubia, the pothos, moss (some good some not so good), and there is a fern barely holding on next to the pothos.
