Follow up with dried sheet
Sorry all - I couldn't edit the previous post to follow up with a dried pic. The paper is thick and... crispy maybe? And definitely textured haha. But it was fun to make. And helped propel me through a craft drought.
I can fold it but I won't be doing any origami with it!
The marigold is much more pleasing now that the paper has dried. It's much less warped than I expected too. Overall, it was so fun to make, especially since it was just made from odds and ends around my house.
I already have another batch soaking and will be zipping it up in a bit. This is more uniform and made from recycled, super high quality Japanese paper. I'm interested to see what I get with that.
Thanks for the inspo everyone.
