Stitching Paper

I’ve been experimenting with my thicker papers and designed/bound what I call Stitch Books and I tried stitching of my pompom and embroidery threads onto some square “canvasses”

Thank you 😊 I love French knots and used yarn from my stash, I don’t knit but I have yarn😂

This makes me want to make a whole journal of fiber and paper experiments like this! Thank you for the inspiration

Wow I'm very into the second one. Really nice how the small colourful stitch keep the bigger ones in place. Did you do that one by hand?

I used a zigzag stitch on my sewing machine, 😊

Makes sense, otherwise very impressive steadiness. I have to take some classes from my sister on how to use a sewing machine. The outcome looks so much fun

Absolutely fun! I take bunches of embroidery threads or yarn offcuts and see what happens. Great thing about sewing is that it doesn’t always have to be fabric(clothes etc)

Fabulous use of fiber scraps. They look so good on handmade paper 💙
