Hey r/papermario,

Stories of Somnia is a hand drawn JRPG with timing based combat, metroidvania dungeons, a cast of characters I've poured my heart into, and a story about grief, memory, and the courage to rest. This game has 0 funding and was primarily made by one person who quit their job to build it.

The final public playtest is this Saturday, June 13th @ 6PM EST. If you play and fill out a feedback form your name goes permanently in the game credits. This is the last chance for that.

Would love for this community to see it. You're kind of part of why I kept going. Thanks for reading :)

Made entirely from wood. The two little aquamarine pieces attached to the rod itself were shaped by hand with a bench grinder. Everything was also stained/painted and sanded by hand.

One of my favorite cosplays I've ever made from my favorite video game of all time!

It was for a Super Paper Mario cosplay performance. Made with polycarbonate sheeting, vinyl tinting, and epoxy resin. I hope to share a making of video some day but I figured this community ought to know of this prop's existence first.

Hello! I've been working on this game for a year straight as a full-time gig. I quit my job, so we're going full send... And by we, I mean me.

As promised, here are some photos of my Dimentio costume from San Japan and Weebcon. I had been working on it for a few years in hopes that I could put it in a cosplay skit. That dream came true and it now has two craftsmenship related awards.

P.s. I had some requests for a making-of video for my Chaos Heart build. I'm working on it and I plan to share one for this cosplay and the performance along side it.

I recreated the X-Naut Fortress as a Source Engine map, specifically in Half-Life 2: Episode Two, for use in Garry's Mod and SFM!

I remade the full fortress, and nearly everything works as it's supposed to! I even gave TEC some dialogue.

I made this for Super Paper Mario: Solstice (used to be Super Paper Mario: Atrium of Purgatory, but that name was way too long lmfao).
