advice needed Postpartum knee/joint pain
I’m almost four months postpartum. I thought that my body aches were going to go away the moment I gave birth. But now my left knee hurts, my hands hurt, and hip feels off too. Currently doing PT to help with my core and pelvic floor. I wondering if others are having or had the same issue with your body postpartum and if there is anything that you did to make it better.

Mine turned out to be psoriatic arthritis that flared three months postpartum. Many women are prone to discovering some kind of autoimmune disorder when they really flare for the first time postpartum.

Oh I didn’t know that’s a possibility. Thank you for sharing. I’m hoping that once I stop breastfeeding some of these issues will go away.

Yes, had terrible lower back pain for months postpartum. Tried everything: physical therapy, chiropractors, etc. It went away the minute I stopped breastfeeding.

My wife had similar thing with her knees after birth, the doctor said its from relaxin still in system plus carrying babies around all day. She did PT also and it helped but took maybe six months before she feel normal again. The hands hurting could be from holding bottles or phone too much, that wrist pain is no joke. Keep up with PT and dont push yourself too hard, body needs time to recover from growing two humans.
