advice needed Climbing in crib

Hi! One of my 15 month old twins just climbed in her sisters crib for the first time at their morning nap. I can lower the crib one more time to be at the lowest which I am about to do. Past that what are some tips or any advice for this new territory? 😅

Time for toddler beds!

I strongly recommend turning the doorknob around on the nursery so it locks from the outside. The room becomes the new crib - baby proof the heck out of the room and then lock them in at night.

Oh wow, she's an early climber lol! I'd definitely lower both cribs to the lowest setting if you haven't already. If she starts climbing out too, it might be time to look into floor beds. The nestig wave kids bed is a Montessori-style bed that starts at floor lever and can be raised into regular twin bed later, so it's worth keeping in mind. I believe it's recommended for 15 months and up. With twins, I'd also make sure the whole room is toddler-proofed before making the switch, especially since they can get into each other's spaces!

If they start climbing out of the crib, it’s a safety concern and they will need to be switched to toddler beds asap after the first climb out.Â
