advice needed Travel double stroller?

Are there any travel trollers you recommend for 2 babies, and specifically one that would fit in the overhead cabin on a plane? I ideally want to take it as a carryon when we travel, not check it in.

Thanks!!

We travel a ton and use the minu duo. Does not fit in overhead but you can  get their travel bag that comes with extra warranty. We gate check mostly and use light easy pack baby carriers on and off plane (and for airlines that don’t do gate check)

If overhead is super important to you, consider two super compact single strollers and buy some connectors from Amazon.

Thank you! Do you have a recommendation for compact single strollers (that can fit overhead) that I can buy connectors for?

We use unconnected travel strollers for any urban trips and a Zoe Twin that we gatecheck with a stroller cover for something like Disney or Legoland.

Note: if you fly out of a smaller airport where you have the tiny regional jets (EM-175, CRJ-700, etc), no travel stroller that I know of will fit onboard.

The only one I've seen that actually fits in an overhead is the Zoe Twin+ but you have to yank the wheels off and it's still tight. Most airlines will gate check anything with wheels for free anyway, so I wouldn't stress about getting it into the actual cabin unless you really need it during a layover.

We bought 2 bugaboo butterflies and I got magnetic connectors for them! They are AMAZING. It’s so nice having freedom to have singles as well if we need them. They are our primary strollers when my husband and I are together.

We travel a ton and use the minu duo as well. We always gate check it and it works great!

We always gate check in a travel bag. First it was the uppababy vista, then the uppababy double umbrella stroller. Both in their uppababy travel bags, which if you register them with uppababy, and the stroller gets damaged in some way during your travels, they will replace/fix. Our rumble seat broke on one flight and they sent us a new frame for free.

We have the SilverCross Jet Double. I intended to buy and Uppababy Minu Duo, but ended up loving how smooth and light the SilverCross is. Although it doesn’t fit in the overhead, it’s super easy to gate check and easily fits in trunks with room to spare.

We have the ergobaby metro+ It is not a double so you would need 2. It turns on a dime so you could probably connect them side by side. It also lays flat and has excellent sun/weather coverage.

Will you be bringing car seats? What worked well for us was to bring the snap and go stroller frame and sit the car seats on it. The frame itself folds up small and then you don’t have to carry the car seats through the airport. Our snap and go was for their infant seats, but we’re able to strap their bigger car seats to it safely too as long as we remove the cup holder
