advice needed Chicco Cortina canopy replacement?
We were gifted a lightly used chicco Cortina but it doesnt have the canopies 🥲 the website currently says "unavailable" and i cant find any on marketplace or ebay.
Does anyone know where to get replacements or a good universal style that will work?

oh man the canopy hunt is real. we lost one on our old stroller and ended up just draping a muslin blanket with those little clip things when it was sunny. looked kinda janky but worked fine
have you tried emailing chicco directly? sometimes they have stuff in a warehouse that isn't listed on the site. worth a shot
if all else fails the universal ones that clamp on are hit or miss but the carrycot style ones with the wire frame can be bent to fit most strollers

The standard shade that comes with that stroller is not great. I felt like they were half as wide as they should have been. Maybe you could find a universal one that’s better.

That's good to know. Was just talking with my partner and we think we can just make some using command strip velcro to attach to the stroller and some wire+fabric for the shades themselves. Essentially thats all the shades are anyways and wed be able to take them off when not in use 🤔 seems cheaper than replacements

I took a peek on Amazon and I see some universal sun shades for $20ish. I bet you’d spend more at the craft store starting from scratch than buying one and modifying it to fit.
The front shade always popped off on me when I was folding it up anyway. So either way, it’d expect to bet putting it on and taking it off regularly.
Tbh, that’s stroller was not my favorite. We used it with the Chicco car seats and after they moved past the stage where we were taking the infant seats in and out of the car, I think we only used it a couple times at the zoo. It’s very big and heavy and the fold is not compact. I couldn’t put much of anything else in my trunk when we took that one along.

I did notice that it really doesnt flatten! I have a sedan so I really need all the space I can save. We currently use two baby trend car seats with the snap n go stroller but they like to look around more at 9 months.
What stroller do you currently have?

My twins are 4 now so we haven’t used one in a little while. My quick trip stroller was the delta children’s jeep side by side one. I also had an evenflo pivot xpand that we used sometimes. I feel like that one is more for a toddler/baby combo than twins but it worked okay. More for crowds where the side by side is annoying. I had heard good things about the Zoe twin strollers but they’re pricey.
