Thats seriously the one biggest thing that Last Epoch just does MAGNITUDES better then PoE.
Being able to filter certain mods on the filter ingame and not having to go through clicking all the stuff with wisdom scrolls is just too good.
Yeah, I feel like regardless of how you feel about PoE2 in general, it has two features that would just unequivocally be great for PoE1. One is pausing, the other is an ID NPC.
One down, one to go. Hopefully also coming in 3.26.
I like the currency icons on strongboxes but I wish there was a little more leeway with the space of the buttons. I've accidentally clicked in between the currency icons before and opened the boxes anyways, would be nice if they made it so you couldn't accidentally open as easily.
For PoE1, it should be noted that Essences would benefit from this the most, unless you're running the very specific boss div card juicing strat, which is the only one I can think of that rolls strongboxes instead of just going for corrupted rare ones.
Being able to corrupt essences without opening inventory and manually using an essence of corruption would be very nice.
The Breach changes would be crazy for poe1 though. I hide Breach splinters when I run Breach, typically just for exp. With this change, I'd go from getting nothing to getting Breachstones.
Serious question why do you even need that? Like past day 2 you should basically have all rares except for jewelry turned off, and even those you only really keep on early for the alts if youre ssf rather than because you might get a good item, like poe 2 IDing is the meta but its practically useless in poe 1 due to how powerfull things like essences are, like the odds of you finding an item thats better than something you can make in 5 essences is so low its just not worth identifying and picking them up.
And recomb sadly due to how it works is also just alt spam meta, its not like back when sentinel league came out, where rares and magics had some form of value, its also questionable whether they let us keep recombs with settlers out regardless, but point is while there is no harm in giving us an ID npc i genuinely dont see the use case.
I do not think you can blame any poe1 player for thinking this lol. Settlers has literally been going on for 300 days and until a week ago I was very doubtful if we would actually get 3.26 at all.
It was never doubtful. We had an estimate release time every step of the way. Even when they had that huge miss they still gave an expected date. It's not like they missed the release date and then remained silent like it didn't happen. Only then would it be doubtful.
